Wednesday Nights are now dedicated to Life Together Groups
A Life Together Group is a small group in-home bible study for Christ The King Baptist Church. The goal of each Life Together Group is to create a rich, genuine connection with God and a handful of others that will help you connect in a deeper way with Jesus Christ and build genuine relationships with others in a healthy and powerful Christian atmosphere that will impact Mclennan County with the message and love of Christ..
We will be meeting in various homes and Christ The King Baptist Church will provide free child care in the form of our children’s ministry LT Groups (4- 12) and nursery (NB - 3) from 6:30 - 8:30 pm on Wednesday nights for Life Together Group participants. A Life Together Group for Junior High & High School is also meeting at home as well. We would like for our groups to start at 6:45 or 7pm and end by 8:00 or 8:15 so parents can pick up their children at Christ The King NO LATER than 8:30pm
Our Church Goal for the campaign is to start at least 10 Life Together Groups of 6-8 people from the church with the mindset of inviting other friends or co-workers to join your group so that each group consist of around 10-12 total group members.
We are currently looking for H.O.S.T.’s for our Life Together Groups. We define a HOST as someone who... “Has a Heart for people, is willing to Open their home, can serve a Snack and Turn on a DVD player.” If you would like to host or would like more information about hosting a life together group please contact Jason at 754-1202 or jason@christthekingwaco.org
We are asking for everyone connected with Christ The King Baptist to please consider joining a Life Together Group during our initial 6 week Life Together Church Wide-Campaign. Jan 12 - Feb 23. Please make this a priority and sign up and begin to think about other friends and co workers you can invite to live Life Together with!
